Grants are often highly competitive, with many applicants and a low success rate. They often come with conditions and restrictions on how the funds can be used. Also, the application process can be time-consuming, and there may be a lengthy wait between applying and receiving funding.

State Grants

The Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates will award grants to State energy offices and tribal entities to develop and implement a high-efficiency electric home rebate program. These, along with the Home Efficiency Rebates, comprise the Home Energy Rebates Programs authorized through the Inflation Reduction Act.
